From the moment I met Kaelyn and Dan almost two years ago, I knew their wedding would be one for the books. It’s hard to describe Kaelyn’s personality in just a couple of lines, but I feel like Kaelyn’s maid of honor nailed it in her speech when she said “It’s a good thing Dan is fiscally responsible because if not, Kaelyn would spend all of their money on candy and Disney.”
When you picture a Disney loving bride who adores candy and wanted bold pops of color on her wedding day, Kaelyn is exactly the bride you’d expect. Her bright and bubbly personality completely shined through on her wedding day with the vibrant colors and flowers galore.
Dan and Kaelyn started their wedding day off at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Sarasota to get ready. After all the prep and a few bridal party photos at the Ritz Carlton, everyone loaded up onto the most adorable trolley and headed to the Ritz Carlton Beach Club where they held their Chinese tea ceremony as well as their ceremony on the lawn.
Next up was Marie Selby Gardens for the wedding reception, which is where Lavish Designs and Events worked their wedding fairy powers to bring all of Kaelyn’s dreams to life. This reception space was surrounded by the multicolored flowers of the garden, and on the patio Lavish Designs brought it all together with stunning tablescapes, a creative seating chart, and many personal touches.
Seriously, this team of vendors knocked every single moment out of the park!! So happy we had the opportunity to celebrate this amazing couple with an A+ team of vendors. We hope you enjoy this peek into their special day!
Kaelyn’s invitations were probably one of our favorite parts of her day! It completely set the tone for their celebration. Kaelyn even made a special request to The invitation designer to have more sea creatures added on the invite!
Dan and Kaelyn finished off their wedding day by dancing the night away under the string lights at Selby Gardens. A perfect end to a perfect wedding day in Sarasota.
We love the fact that we can provide couples with moments they may have missed otherwise. For these photos, I just told Dan and Kaelyn to enjoy the sunset together. It was a moment for them to break away from the crowd and simply take in the day. These moments are always some of our favorite.
