When I think of Tamara and Jeremy’s wedding, the first word that comes to my mind is FUN. This wedding day was filled with SO much joy, and it was one of those days that we really wished we could shoot over and over again. Tamara and Jeremy incorporated some awesome surprises into their day like a classic car to transport Tamara to the Basillica, and an Arabic drummer welcoming them into their reception. We are so excited to share this sneak peek into their special day! We hope this blog brings as many smiles to your face as it brought to ours while we were living through these moments with them.
Tamara and Jeremy’s big day started off at the historic Casa Monica Hotel. This hotel sits right in the middle of historic St Augustine and offers breathtaking views of Flagler College, The Lightner Museum, and other popular St Augustine attractions.
After Tamara was dressed and ready, this AMAZING vintage car arrived to transport her and her dad to the church for the ceremony.
Then of course we had to get the groom and his brothers in some photos with the car too.
Then it was time for the most anticipated moment of the day, the moment that they said I do.
This is one of my favorite photos of the entire day, because I just feel like you can see how much love Jeremy has for his bride by the way he is smiling at her. I loved watching Tamara and Jeremy together, because you could just feel how much they loved each other, and how extremely happy they were. When the couple is head over heels for each other, you can just feel it.
Following the ceremony, we took the newlyweds and their bridal party across the streets of St Augustine and over to the Bridge of lions for some formal portraits. (P.S. can we just get some love for this intimate bridal party please?! Small parties for the win!)
One of my FAVORITE things about St Augustine Weddings is how all of the tourists cheer and honk for the newlyweds. It’s even better when the couple plays along and waves back to them! Tamara and Jeremy were eating up all of the congratulations, and we’ll never forget Jeremy saying “They love me!” hahah! These moments were just a blast!
Then it was time for the wedding reception at The White Room. The White Room in St Augustine is well known for its views of the bridge of lions, the bay, and historic downtown. This is one of our favorite St Augustine wedding venues!
Okay this HAD to be our favorite part of the night! The crowd LOVED Tamara and Jeremy’s arabic drummer! The reception entrance sets the tone for the whole night, we love when our couples go big!
And then everyone partied the night away. Footloose Dj’s kept the dance floor full ALL night. Get ready to laugh at some of our favorite moments from their reception.
And the night ended with one of the most beautiful final dances we’ve ever seen, followed by a sparkler exit. Tamara and Jeremy, thank you for including us in this day, and thank you for being one of the best couples we’ve ever photographed! We loved spending these moments with you!
