Eden and Ryan had the perfect summer day for their waterfront Adams Estate wedding. Their timeless design, combined with the incredible staff at the Adams Estate, made for a beautiful celebration. It was so lovely getting to photograph this sweet couple, and I’m so glad I can finally share their wedding day with you!
Ryan and Eden met on a dating app and bonded over their love of dogs and Disney. They quickly discovered that they both attended the University of Central Florida and later relocated to Jacksonville to continue school at the University of North Florida! After dating for three years, Ryan proposed at Magic Kingdom in front of Cinderella’s castle, and the rest was history!
Eden knew from the start that she wanted an outdoor wedding at a grand estate near a large body of water. As soon as they pulled up to the Adams Estate, they knew it was the venue of their dreams. The Adams Estate is located right on Lake Alfred, and it features a gorgeous 1940s house and, most importantly, an air-conditioned tent! The venue also offers on-site accommodations, allowing couples to spend even more time with their loved ones. Adams Estate was the perfect spot for Eden and Ryan’s intimate summer wedding.
The vision for Ryan and Eden’s Adams Estate wedding was classy, timeless, and romantic. They opted for simple black and white decor accented with candlelight for cozy, old-money vibes. They then brightened up the space with beautiful, colorful florals and olive-green accents. Eden’s satin off-the-shoulder ballgown really brought everything together for a classic, elegant aesthetic.
Of course, no wedding day is complete without personal touches. Some of my favorite moments and details from Eden and Ryan’s day were the things that made it unique to them.
Eden and Ryan opted to enter their wedding ceremony together, which was so sweet. They also decided to incorporate their love of board games by using a custom deck of cards as their guest book! The cards had a photo of the Adams Estate on the back, and guests signed each card’s face. And finally, Eden chose to change into a spectacular mini dress with sequins and feathers for dancing! It was such a fun juxtaposition to her sleek ballgown and the perfect way to really spice up the party!
As a wedding photographer in Florida, one of my priorities is making sure that my couples don’t get sweaty before their ceremony. Since Eden and Ryan’s Adams Estate wedding day was in September, we knew this was a big concern. Since they were doing a first look and portraits before their ceremony, I structured the timeline in a way that gave them breaks to go inside several times during portraits. This is why I love creating custom packages for couples; I want to ensure we have adequate time for what each couple needs.
This Adams Estate wedding day for Eden and Ryan was truly spectacular from start to finish. If you’re getting married in northern or central Florida and you’re looking for a wedding photographer, let’s connect! I’d love to hear all about your love story and your plans for your big day!
