Jekyll Island, Georgia. A quaint, romantic town perfectly positioned on the coast of South Georgia. What once started as a hunting club for extremely wealthy individuals (heard the name Rockefeller, anyone?!) now serves as a spot to unwind, relax, and even say “I do!”
The Jekyll Island Resort truly has it all. From moss covered trees, to stunning architecture, gorgeous water views, and the perfect blooms to utilize as the backdrop of your spring wedding, just like our couple Ashley and Ryan.
These two honestly couldn’t have picked a more perfect day for their wedding at The Jekyll Island Resort and Crane Cottage. We were blessed with the most perfect weather and every single member of their family and bridal party gave us a warm welcome. Their family perfectly resembled the “southern hospitality” atmosphere. It was truly one of those weddings that we were sad to leave at the end of the night.
Ashley and Ryan held their ceremony on the lawn, followed by the most breathtaking cocktail hour over-looking the marsh as the sun started peeking behind the trees. As the sun slipped away and day turned to night, the string lights at the crane cottage illuminated the courtyard and provided a warm, romantic ambiance.
