The Location | Casa Monica Hotel

When my sweet couple Alexa and Jeremiah told me that they wanted to take their engagement photos in downtown St Augustine, I instantly knew the perfect place! The Casa Monica is one of my FAVORITE locations to take my couples for beautiful engagement photos in the historic district! Dating all the way back to the 1800s, this spot has so much charm and truly encompasses the historic feel of our city. If you’re coming for a visit, add the Casa Monica St. Aug. to your list of “instagram-able” spots. 

Alexa and Jeremiah are getting ready to tie the knot next summer at Tuscan Rose Vineyards, and we couldn’t be more excited for their wedding! But first, let’s take a peek into their St Augustine Engagement Photos!

Alexa and Jeremiah woke up before the sun to meet me at Vilano Beach to start their sunrise engagement session. While it may not sound appealing to you to wake up at the crack of dawn, I can assure you that theses photos in front of the Casa Monica in Downtown St Augustine would not have been possible in the afternoon! Beating the crowds is a huge reason to consider planning your St Augustine Engagement Session in the morning rather than the afternoon or evening, especially during busy times of year like the summer or around Christmas!!
