Have you ever gotten so cold that your feet turned blue and went numb? Yeah, me neither… until this session anyway. When my husband and I were visiting Oregon this past October (happy anniversary to us!) Haystack Rock Cannon Beach was at the TOP of my “must-see” list! When we drove up and I got the first glimpse of Haystack Rock in the distance, I was completely awe-struck. I had seen photos of this iconic location more times than I could count, but it’s impossible to take in the sheer magnitude of these rock formations without seeing it for yourself. I was in photographer heaven… until we stepped out of the car. Haha!  

On the morning of our shoot with Parker and Riley, we were met with extreme winds, and a much lower temperature than this Florida girl was prepared for. But after Riley and Parker drove all the way to the coast to meet us, there was no way we were gonna let the cold stand in our way of getting some EPIC photos for these two.

Riley and Parker were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were complete troopers and braved less than ideal weather conditions to pull off these photos, and I have to say… I think they were so worth it! I still can’t believe I got to do a shoot in this epic location that I’ve dreamed of seeing for years. Thank you so much Riley and Parker for being the sweetest, and helping us check off one of our bucket list shoot locations!
